What day of the week do new comics normally arrive?
New comics normally arrive on Wednesdays at all of our branches. You can check with our branches by simply giving us a call. Contact numbers can be found at our Store Locations page.
How can I find out what titles are arriving for the following week?
If you are looking for a list of new arrival titles, simply check our New Releases page.
I missed a recent issue of a title I am collecting. Can you still reorder it for me?
Yes we can. Although we cannot guarantee 100% fulfillment, we do our very best to fill all reorders. All reorders placed with us are automatically re-ordered within the same week so it can be filled within a 2-3 week period if available from the publisher. We will immediately call you once your reordered item has arrived. To place reorders, simply send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line "Reorder Request".
Do you offer a subscription or pull list service?
Absolutely. No deposit is required and the service is free. Simply stop by one of our shops and let us know which titles you wish to subscribe to. We also offer an e-mail service in which we can send you a confirmed list of titles shipping that week. You can e-mail us back your list of titles for that week and we will automatically set aside your titles once the shipment arrives on Wednesday or Thursday. This is by far the easiest way to subscribe with us. You can pick up your comics on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Simply pick up your favorite titles on your specified pick-up option and we will continue your subscription until you request to stop the service. We do reserve the right to stop your subscription/pull service if you do not pick up your items within a 1 month cycle.
Can I special order items through the monthly previews and Marvel catalogue?
Yes, we can special order almost any item for you from the monthly Previews and Marvel Previews catalogues. Most special orders do not require deposits, but a 50% deposit is required for all high ticket items such as statues, high-end action figures, and apparel. All special orders are non-cancelable after the due by date posted in the catalogues they are solicited in. Please note: Although we will try our very best to fulfill your advance special orders, certain items such as limited production statues/models cannot be guaranteed due to strict allocation policies based on production numbers decided upon by their respective companies.
What modes of payment do you accept?
We currently accept Paypal, Bank Deposits, G-Cash, and all major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, American Express, etc) through Paypal without the need of making a Paypal account.
I want to place an order online. Is it really necessary to register to place an order?
No, it isn't necessary to register to make a purchase, however, we do highly recommend it. By registering, you will only have to fill out your shipping information once.
Every time you place an order with us, we will automatically use your information already on file with us. No need to fill out additional forms every time you make a purchase.
You will also be informed of any online special offers, store sales, or store events we will be hosting.
How can I be sure that my comics will arrive in the best possible condition?
At Comic Odyssey, we make sure each comic comes with bags and boards and pack them nice and tight to make sure that the comics arrive at your door in the same condition that they leave our warehouse. Unless otherwise specified, our comics are in Near Mint to Very Fine condition.
I've just placed my first order. When can i expect the shipment to arrive?
Once we've confirmed your payment, we will ship out your order within 2-3 business days. Depending where you are located in the Philippines, your shipment will take approximately 3-5 business days to arrive.
Once your package has shipped out, you will be sent an e-mail notification containing the shipper information and tracking number. This will give you a timeframe on when to expect your shipment. We use FEDEX/Air21, AP Cargo, or LBC for all our shipments.
I have a problem with my order. Do you have a policy regarding returns?
We allow returns of merchandise 7 days upon receipt of the items. Send us an e-mail with your order number email@example.com and we will investigate the matter in a prompt and professional manner. Please note however that return items should be in its original delivery condition and sent back to us via courier with prepaid shipping and insurance for the full purchase price. A 20% restocking fee shall be deducted to the amount paid as well as shipping and handling charges. For items that were shipped free under our Free Shipping Service, a standard amount shall also be deducted.
How can I check my order status?
All you have to do is sign in to your account and under your account details there should be information on all of your orders. If you can't find the link to your account details, just click the link on the top left corner of the page under "Logged in as XXXXX". Since all our order statuses are real time, it should show you the current status of your order. You can also track your order through the tracking number that we send you when it becomes available.
Can I cancel my order?
All orders that have not been processed and shipped are still cancellable. Simply e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the order number, and we will be glad to process the cancellation for you.
Can you ship outside of the Philippines?
We currently do not have any set service for shipping worldwide, but for customers that would like to make purchases and are outside of the Philippines, we will do our best to make special arrangements for you. Before placing your order, please e-mail us email@example.com so we can make special shipping arrangements for your order.
